Mock Drill

Disasters are the worst things to happen and are mostly unavoidable. However, it is necessary that one should be prepared to meet any kind of adverse situation and also be in a position to help others. Thus, Mock Drills are regular exercises conducted in order to prepare everyone to tackle these situations.

A Mock Drill was conducted to cause awareness and train them in this, in the school premises on the 1st of September, 2026. The hooter was pressed at 10:55 a.m. and with immediate effect, the students, teachers, non-teaching staff, house-keeping staff and all the visitors present in the school were rushed to the vacant open area.

The team of Disaster Management, which included a few teachers and student members, immediately came into action and helped others to move out of the building. The whole building was evacuated in a span of 4 minutes. Special arrangements were made to assist the physically challenged and CWSN children and carry them to safer areas.

Towards the end, Principal Madam Aruna Sivaraj, addressed the students and teachers and praised them for their timely response. Overall, the drill proved beneficial in causing awareness and alertness among everyone.
